Yeap

Yeap My friend got a ticket for switching on the hazard light while driving in the rain from a local police when he traveled in Europe last time.

The hazard light actually distract a person attention while driving in the rain while other may found it useful to alert other drivers.

Try to notice it when more than one cars in front of you turn on their hazard light while you drive in the rain....

The worst driver is those who do not turn on any light in heavy rain!!

Actually i don't see anything wrong with that..

Most accidents happen because ppl FAIL TO NOTICE what's in front of them especially when visibility is poor as in the situation of heavy rain. Hazard lights help to make your car more noticeable to others. Some may say that hazard lights are meant for stationary vehicles only but the MAIN DIFFERENCE between a stationary vehicle and one that is not is that the stationary vehicle IS NOT MOVING!!! If you can't judge whether the car in front of you is moving or not, you should not be driving in the first place...

frankly FOG LIGHTS are still the best as its powerful beams can " pierce" thru fog and heavy rain but malaysian cars are not equipped with those....
