Sila ambil perhatian.  Semua penumpang yang duduk belakang kereta diminta memakai tali pinggang keselamatan.  Undang-undang ini akan dikuatkuasakan mulai 1-Jan-2009.  Sesiapa yang tidak ikut akan didenda RM300.

後座沒繫安全帶‧警將罚款RM300/=
全國交警主任阿都阿茲士說，轎車的後座乘客從明年1月1日起必須綁安全帶，所以警方在這之前，會對那些沒有綁安全帶的乘客罚款RM300/=。
他指出，警方此舉是希望這些乘客知道，有關法令將在明年1月1日正式生效。屆時，若後座乘客沒有綁安全帶，交警及陸路交通局官員有權發出傳票。
阿都阿茲士說，警方暫時不會以這個課題展開類似“態度行動”的檢舉行動。
此外，道路安全局總監拿督蘇立星說，為了讓更多人知道這一法令的生效日期，一項名為“60天後座乘客必須綁安全帶倒數”的活動正式展開。

i just don't understand it...isn't it suka hati mak bapak sebelah nenek tiri aku lah nak pakai tali keledar atau tak? however it is safer for the backseat people though...i'm not sure if a seat belt would protect when a perodua kancil is rammed by a cement truck though...

i'm not against installing backseat seltbelts but i am against the ridiculous saman when u tak pakai tali keledar...

Have you tried to fix rear seat belts?  Seems no car accessory shop has stock !!

My truck came with 3 sets of rear seat belts...12 yrs ago, and they've never been used.

i think its good to use the seat belt..sometimes really beh tahan see the kids jumping at the back seat!

ur car shudn't have 4th passenger at the back in the 1st place.

Bernyce is right.  One of my cousins died when he didn't wear the rear seat belt.

Those think don't need to wear seat belt really think like kampung people.
They don't know accident can come in any time.

Of course wearing seat belt won't safe you if a cement truck rammed on you.
But if your kancil slip to the road side, your kids will not throw out and die if you
ask them to wear seat belt.
